Cell factory cell contamination prevention and remediation methods

It is indisputable that our best response to contamination in cell factories is prevention. Therefore, cells should be diligent in culture, disposable consumables used at ordinary times should not be reused, auxiliary utensils should be autoclaved in time, and unused after sterilization for more than a week should also be sterilized again.

The preparation of complete medium, pancreatic enzyme, PBS, etc. should be used up within a week. You should also check your cell status daily. In the cell room should be as little as possible to walk, talk as little as possible, if coughing or sneezing must be back to the ultra clean table.

If we find that cells in a cell factory  are contaminated and the best thing to do is to throw them away, but what can we do when individual cells are too precious to throw away?

First of all, we need to determine the source of pollution: Once the cells are found to have signs of pollution or have been contaminated, immediately determine the possible source of pollution: Is there improper operation? Is the color and clarity of medium, pancreatic enzyme, PBS normal?
Then it needs to be dealt with in a timely manner. If it is determined that the existing medium, pancreatic enzyme and PBS are available, continue to use; If it cannot be determined, a new medium, PBS and pancreatic enzyme should be prepared, and the original liquid should be treated after determining whether it is contaminated.
